You must be 18 or over to purchase age-restricted products from Smoke Shop. Nicotine is addictive. These products are intended for adult smokers and vapers only - not for children or non-nicotine users under 18.
1. Our age policy
Smoke Shop operates as an online retailer in the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly sell age-restricted products to anyone under 18. By creating an account, entering our site through an age gate, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Why we restrict to 18+
UK law restricts the sale of nicotine inhaling products and related items to persons aged 18 and over. We apply a clear 18+ rule across our catalogue of nicotine and vaping goods and take reasonable steps to enforce it online and at delivery where applicable.
3. How we verify age
Depending on the order and risk checks, we may:
- require an age confirmation before browsing or checkout;
- use third-party age assurance or identity checks;
- ask for additional confirmation before dispatch;
- rely on courier age-check or ID on delivery for certain services.
Failure to complete a requested check may result in cancellation and refund of the order.
4. Delivery checks
Parcels containing age-restricted goods may need an adult aged 18 or over to accept delivery and show photo ID if asked. If the courier cannot complete an age check, the parcel may be returned to us. Re-delivery or return costs may apply where the failure is due to the recipient.
5. Refusal of sale
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we believe the purchaser is under 18, age cannot be verified, or the order may be intended for a minor. We may also restrict accounts that attempt to bypass age controls.
